The development of this part of the website was co-financed by Transport for London’s Project STAR which aims to provide a more co-ordinated approach to the development of staff in TfL Streets and in the London Boroughs.

The course aims to provide an introduction to the basic structure of town planning in England and Wales, together with examples and discussion of current issues. It will assume that participants have some familiarity with the workings of local government, but little knowledge of the workings of planning in practice.
